Wizkid’s Essence Emerge Rolling Stone’s Best Songs of 2021 list

Nigerian music superstar, Wizkid [Big Wiz] has bagged yet another international recognition with his global smash hit, Essence which has been named the Best Song of 2021.
Wizkid’s song ” Essence ” was released on October 30, 2020, as the 11th single off his fourth studio album, Made in Lagos. It features Nigerian artist Tems, who co-wrote the song with Wizkid and samples Loleatta Holloway’s ” Love Sensation “. P2J and Legendury Beatz collaborated on “Essence.”
With sounds that are both erotic and emotional, Essence recounts a love affair between the two vocalists, Wizkid and Tems.
The tune actually brought Tems to the limelight and made her break global boundaries making her gain recognition on the world music market.
Well, the two Nigerian stars have reached another milestone in their music career as the song has been ranked as the best song in 2021 by Rolling Stone.
