Recall, Senator Peter Nwaoboshi has been suspended from (PDP) Peoples Democratic Party for some time now, due to anti-party activities. He has now been defected (PDP) Peoples Democratic Party to (APC) All Progressives Congress.
On Friday, it was confirmed that the President Muhammadu Buhari, received the Senator representing Delta North Senatorial District, Peter Nwaoboshi as he defected from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
The president had said, “You are welcome to the progressives family.’’
The Chairman of the APC Caretaker Committee and governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, presented Senator Peter Nwaoboshi at the First Lady’s Conference Room, presidential villa, Abuja.
Alongside other members of the APC Caretaker Committee and relevant stakeholders were at the Presidential to brief the President on how they have managed the affairs of the party in the past year.
