PRESIDENT BUHARI LEAVES ABUJA TO ATTEND THE AFRICAN FINANCE SUMMIT IN PARIS.

The President of Nigeria Buhari Mohammed will depart the country on Sunday on a four-day official visit to attend African Finance Summit.

Mallam Garba Shehu the Senior Special Assistant to the President said the meeting will be a focus on reviewing the African economy especially getting relief from debt that burden the country.

The host is President Emmanuel Macron. During the visit, Buhari will meet the French President on the security threat of the Sahel in the Lake Chad region, political relations, climate change, economic and health sector, checks on COVID-19, telecommunications, and others.

Sahara reporters said the Presidency has opted out to inform Nigerians of his visit also to his doctor in London, United Kingdom after leaving Kampala Uganda.

He will be accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Geoffrey Onyeama, Minister of Finance, Budget, and National Planning Zainab Shamsuna Ahmed, Minister of Trade and Investment Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo, Minister of health Osagie Ehanire, National Security Adviser Major General Babagana Mohammed Munguno, Director General of National Intelligent Agency(NIA) Ahmed Rufai Abubakar.
