Peter Obi is criticized by Tinubu’s campaign council for endorsing currency reform

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, has come under fire from the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council for his support of the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) currency reform strategy.

Mr. Omowaiye charged Mr. Obi with conspiring with bank employees to put Nigerians through hardship.

The spokeswoman for the APC PCC encouraged the CBN to develop practical plans that will assist Nigerians rather than subjecting them to suffering before receiving the new naira notes.
