PDP national chairman Iyorchia Ayu pleaded with Nigerians on Monday not to waste their votes by supporting the All Progressives Congress (APC)

Iyorchia Ayu, the national chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, pleaded with Nigerians on Monday not to waste their votes by supporting the All Progressives Congress, which is currently in power.
Speaking on Tuesday during the PDP presidential campaign rally in Benue State, the main opposition party chairman claimed that only people with mental problems will vote for the APC.
Ayu said, “All of you know that you have suffered in this country in the last eight years under APC, only somebody who has a mental problem will vote for APC. “”Do not waste your vote.”
Ayu declared: “You are all aware of the suffering caused by the APC in this country over the past eight years. Only a person suffering from a mental illness would support the APC. “Do Regarding the PDP’s internal crisis, Ayu stated that efforts were being made to reach a resolution and that the party’s leadership was in contact with disgruntled party members. In response to the PDP’s internal crisis, Ayu stated that reconciliation efforts were underway and that the PDP leadership was in talks with disgruntled party members. “Do not waste your vote.”

“The party is not split. A few members have expressed their dissatisfaction. We’re speaking with them. We want to ensure that they return and fully collaborate with us. “Everything can be changed in a week. “This has been going on, and I want to assure you that we will get everyone back,” he said.
He also urged Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom to join the PDP campaign train and take part in activities that would ensure the PDP’s victory in the presidential election.
“I am appealing to my younger brother, Gov. Ortom, to come back and join us so that we will fight to rescue Nigeria. Gov. Ortom has nowhere to go; the PDP is his only home, and whenever he comes, we will gladly welcome him and all PDP governors.
“
