‘Obi will deny promises like Peter did to Jesus’ – Tinubu
Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC), has urged Anambra State residents not to support Peter Obi, the candidate for the Labour Party (LP).
According to Tinubu, Obi will backtrack on his commitments just like the Biblical Peter did three times before the crows began to crow.
On Tuesday, he addressed supporters at a rally for his presidential campaign in Awka, the capital of Anambra State, at Ekwueme Square.
A man who keeps people at home to suffer, according to Tinubu, is eligible to seek for votes.
According to Tinubu: “I’m not afraid of anybody, and I don’t worry. The man who left here, he calls himself Peter Obi. We read in the Bible that before the cock crows three times, he will deny Jesus Christ.
“Before cock crows, he denied. So how can he keep a promise to you? He who cannot keep a promise to God.”
Tinubu, who described himself as intelligent, claimed he had never shut down a market or murdered anyone.
