Nasarawa Local Govt Chairman ‘Emmanuel Leweh’ Slumps During a Meeting and Dies Days After

The Chairman of the Akwanga Local Government Area in Nasarawa State, Emmanuel Leweh, is dead.

According to newsmen, the late Emmanuel Leweh was admitted after he slumped on Monday, in his office at the council secretariat, Akwanga in Nasarawa State.

He just resumed barely three months in office and was confirmed dead today being Thursday at a private hospital in Abuja where he has been receiving medical treatment since he slumped.

A member of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Mr, Samuel Tsebe, who confirmed the death, said:

 “I lost my elder brother (Hon Emmanuel Joseph Leweh, Executive Chairman of Akwanga LGA) to the cold hand of Death this evening after a brief illness.”
