Iranian Warship Sinks.
News reaching us Now (Wednesday 02-06-2021) from credible sources, narrates moments the Largest Iranian Warship sinks in the Gulf of Oman after it gutted fire.
According to Fox News, the Iranian support warship sank under unclear circumstances near the Iranian port of Jask, about 790 miles southeast of Tehran.
It was reported that the iranian warship sinks after it gutted fire at about 2:25 a.m, and efforts to save the ship were unsuccessful.
Photos posted on Iranian social media showed moments when the Sailors were captured evacuating the warship as the fire burned behind them.
As at the time of writing this report, Iranian officials have yet to say what caused the blaze.
Recall that in the past, there has been series of reported cases of Iranian ships mishaps such as the destruction of a naval vessel near the port of Jask, which killed 19 sailors and wounded 15 in 2020 and the sinking of the Iranian Navy Destroyer in the Capsian sea.
The sinking of The Kharg is the latest amongst the series of recorded sinks of Iranian Naval Warships.
Please note that KHARG is the name of the recently sunk warship, and is was named after the island that serves as the main oil terminal for Iran.
