The Governor of Kogi state Bello Yahaya said he will give an affirmative answer very soon to the request of the Nigerian. He said ” Nigerians are asking me to run for President in 2023 but I will give an affirmative answer very soon.
He spent most of his time during interviews defending Buhari especially on the issues of security and restructuring.
“He said we got where we are today as a result of maladministration of successive administrations and not just the fault of the president”.
Governor Bello on the issue of grazing said he has not banned open grazing because there is no provision for ranching yet. He calls upon the southern governors to cultivate the habit of accommodating the Fulanis. He said he has been able to resolve the crisis of farmer-herder in Kogi with the operation of traditional rulers, youth, farmers, and the Fulanis themselves.
