Iyanya Mbuk, a Nigerian artist, disclosed on Wednesday that he pleaded with event organizers to let him play at two events in December 2021.
The Kukere crooner described how, in December 2021, he appeared at three performances but only received payment for one of them in a series of tweets.
Iyanya continued, “The story altered in December 2022 when he had over 20 events where he was paid to perform.
The talent show star thanked God for the improvement and said he hadn’t had a December as busy since 2017.
He wrote, “I played at 3 events in December 2021. I pleaded to perform at two just to be seen after one paid.
“In December 2022, I receive show alerts every morning. I haven’t had a December this busy since 2017. A month’s worth of performances exceed 20. Gratitude to God
Iyanya thanked his listeners for downloading and streaming his music and assured them that 2023 would be a better year.
