EID-AL-FITR BEGINS ON THE 13TH OF MAY 2021.

As the shawwal moon was not sighted on Tuesday, Eid-al-Fitr will start on Thursday 13th of May said Haramain Sharifain from the Tumair observatory in Saudi Arabia.

The Eid al-Fitr celebrations signify the end of a month of holiness and all-day fasting for the Muslims.

Saudi Arabia’s Royal Court had called on all worshippers to watch the skies for the manifestation of the crescent moon, which must be seen with the naked eye in order to officially marked the beginning of the celebration.

The celebration is the gathering together of worshippers to end the fast.
