Donald Trump Hails Buhari and Nigeria saying he is in support of his decision to put an end to the use of Twitter in Nigeria. He also called on other nation to follow suit.
Recall that Twitter had permanently banned Donald Trump from the platform on January 8 for what it says was “Inciting violence” with his recent tweets.
Donald Trump Hails Buhari And Nigeria in a statement where he said:
Congratulations to the country of Nigeria, which just banned Twitter because they banned their President, more countries should ban Twitter and Facebook for not allowing free and open speech, all voices should be heard.
“In the meantime, competitors will emerge and take hold. Who are they to dictate good and evil if they themselves are evil? Perhaps I should have done it while I was President. But Zuckerberg kept calling me and coming to the White House for dinner telling me how great I was. 2024?”
The Nigerian government said it had banned the use of Twitter for an unspecified period of time, over an accusation that the social networking company was interfering in Nigeria’s internal affairs.
