Cristiano Ronaldo’s new coach “blames his miss from point-blank range” in Al-Saudi Nassr’s Super Cup defeat as he waits to score his first goal in a competitive game

Rudi Garcia, the new manager of Cristiano Ronaldo, has acknowledged that Al-Super Nassr’s Cup loss to Al-Ittihad on January 26 was significantly impacted by Ronaldo’s wasted opportunity.
Ronaldo, who also went scoreless in his official Al-Nassr debut over the weekend, found it difficult to contribute as his team lost 3-1.
Cristiano’s lost opportunity in the first half was one of the factors, according to Garcia’s analysis of the game.
“I commend Al-Ittihad.” We played well in the second half after they played a far better first half than we did, but we were unable to change the outcome. Despite our disappointment over the Super Cup loss, we continue to lead the league.
Ronaldo also suffered an injury scare as he went down clutching his ankle but fortunately, he was able to continue.
He is yet to score a competitive goal for his new team, however he did score twice in the exhibition match against Paris Saint-Germain.
