Buhari Interview Arise News
In a recent interview which was believed to have taken place in Aso rock on the 9th of June but aired on 10th, Muhammadu Buhari spoke exclusively to ARISE NEWS in what appeared to be the first interview he has granted since beginning the second term in office more than two years ago.
Still on the Buhari interview Arise News, PMB spoke on a wide range of issues, including the worrying security situation in the country.
In his own words:
The northwestern part is my biggest concern, because of killings going on among people of the same culture.
PMB however revealed that he has given the police and military the power to be ruthless with those behind the insecurity in the region.
When asked about the pressing and topical issue of Twitter suspension in the country, Buhari was reluctant, saying he would like to keep that to himself alone.
Also in the buhari interview arise News, Buhari tried to defend the issue of perceived lopsidedness in his appointments, saying people shouldn’t just be picked for a geographical balance over those who have earned their place.
He further touched on other topics, from the activities of IPOB in the southeast to the EndSARS protests of October last year, the troubling issue of killer herdsmen, and how he would want Nigerians to judge him after his tenure.
