Artisans Ensure 5.3 million Votes for Tinubu
National director, Artisans and Technicians of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council, Mr Adeshina Akinyemi has pledged that they will give 5.3 million votes to Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in the 2023 presidential election.
He offered the guarantee in Abuja at the inauguration of national and zonal directorates of artisans and technicians and the commencement of operation 30:30 for Tinubu-Shettima 2023 campaign organization.
The purpose of the event, according to Akinyemi, was to make a statement and demonstrate the power of the APC Tinubu-Shettima Grassroots Independent Campaign Council (ICC).
He added that it was also intended to highlight the council’s breadth and depth as a deeply ingrained organization with structures spread out over the nation and the ability to contribute at any time to the political process and the nation at large.
The purpose of the gathering, according to Adeshina, was to inform and raise awareness among country craftsmen that Tinubu, the APC’s presidential contender for 2023, is the best option.
“We are here to inform them that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu would be the future president of Nigeria, to be elected in February 2023.
Akinyemi added that there were currently 7.5 million registered craftsmen around the nation: “And that is the message they should carry back to their villages, local government regions, and zones.”
In the upcoming 2023 presidential election, “we are going to deliver roughly 5.3 million votes for Tinubu, even though we know we can’t get 100% of the vote,” he continued.
The event was the first in the nation’s democratic history, according to Alhaji Sanusi Rikiji, co-director and director of artisans and technicians for the North West zone.
“He claimed that the APC had established a complete directorate to bring craftsmen from all over the nation together as a result of the fact that they had been aware of them for the first time, making this the case.
This, he continued, indicated that in his eagerness to advance the nation’s economy, Tinubu had come to the realization that technicians and craftsmen were the best place to start when it came to advancing the economy, raising productivity, and raising Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
One of Tinubu’s top concerns if elected as the next president of Nigeria, according to Simon Lalong, director-general of the Tinubu Campaign Council, who launched the directorates. Tinubu is a registered artisan himself.
“Mr. Silas Agara, a former deputy governor of Nasarawa State and the national coordinator of the APC Tinubu-Shettima Grassroots Independent Campaign Council, represented Lalong at the occasion (ICC).
According to him, Nigerian craftsmen and technologists used the voting strategy known as “Operation 30:30” for Tinubu-Shettima 2023, which was also inaugurated, for the 2023 presidential election.
