Due to ongoing security issues, all-night street carnivals would not be permitted throughout the council territory, according to Epe Local Government Chairman Mrs. Surah Animashaun.
On Friday in Lagos, Animashaun told the News Agency of Nigeria that all street carnival-related activities must conclude by 10 p.m.
The chairman urged all of the council’s lawmakers, community leaders, and religious figures to help educate and inform their followers and fellow citizens about the situation.
“Due to the security situation, the local authority has decided that there will be no all-night carnivals in the historic neighborhood.
“As a result, all youth carnivals must conclusively conclude by 10 o’clock at night. The municipal government will not hesitate to take action against anyone who disobeys this executive order.
“Please assist in spreading the word about this directive to the adolescents and the general public, especially street carnival organizers that all festivities should finish by 10pm,” she requested.
