10,500 kids receive polio vaccines from Osun LG.

The Ife East Local Government Area of Osun’s Ward Supervisor, Mrs. Olanike Awoyefa, reported that the council had given 10,500 children polio vaccines.
In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Wednesday in Ile-Ife, Awoyefa revealed the information.
She claimed that this year’s oral polio vaccination, second phase, was given to kids under five to protect them from the illness.
She claims that the government would keep implementing policies to stop the virus.
According to Awoyefa, the exercise covered the regions of Akogun, Apata 11, 111, Asikolaye, Ajidara, Owoeye, Oyebanji, Ifedebi, Safejo, Alajobi, and Lakaye from December 16 to December 19.
However, she praised mothers for supporting the initiative and letting their kids receive vaccinations.
She also praised the state government’s dedication to getting rid of polio in the state.
